Well, hello there!!

Hey! My name's Kay Gianna. I'm 14 years and have already found a love for music. I've been playing tenor and alto saxophone for 4 years, singing for 3 years, and playing piano for 9 years, my personal favorite. I also play violin, ukulele! And I'm learning guitar now. I truly found a love for music and writing though about 4 years ago. I've always loved writing, whether songs, poems, or even stories. I wrote my first song when I was ten and it's only escalated from there. Over the past year I've been writing songs with some good friends of mine from Nashville, and that too has helped me improve in my writing. Recently, I was asked to sing those songs at a songwriting festival called "Roscolusa" in Nocatee, Florida. Of course, I said yes. Preparing to sing my songs there was stressful, and saying I was nervous would be an understatement. I was terrified. When the day came that I was to sing on stage in front of thousands of people, I was both excited and nervous at the same time. I sang three of my favorite original songs. I had such an amazing time and it was a great experience for me. No matter how nervous I get, I will always love singing and playing on stage. And that rush of adrenaline and nerves is something Im still getting used to, but after I sing I always feel better than ever. I'm so thankful for everyone who's walked beside me on my musical journey. My best friend, my sister, and especially, my parents. I'm going to start blogging my experiences as I continue this adventure in growing up with music and myself. I don't want to make this journey alone though, so you can join me!
